Developer Policy

Effective Date: January 9, 2026 | Last Revised: January 9, 2026

This Developer Policy governs the use of Cortexvia's application programming interfaces (APIs) and software development kits (SDKs) for developers building integrations with our platform. Cortexvia is operated by Shaik Afrid, trading as Cortexvia Technologies ("Cortexvia," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy establishes the technical requirements, behavioral standards, and legal obligations applicable to all developers accessing our platform programmatically. By accessing our APIs or incorporating our SDKs into your applications, you agree to comply with this Policy and all terms within the Agreement. This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Usage Policy, Security Policy, Cookie Policy, API Policy, Compliance Policy, and Refund Policy (collectively, the "Agreement").

1. API and SDK Usage Requirements

1.1. Key Distribution. Users may utilize a single API key across multiple websites, applications, or integration points. All usage across all integration points counts toward the quota associated with that key. Developers should architect their applications to efficiently share quota across their integration ecosystem. 1.2. Key Security Obligations. Cortexvia stores API keys using industry-standard encryption within our secure infrastructure. However, once an API key is displayed or copied from the developer portal, full responsibility for maintaining its security transfers to the developer. This includes implementing secure storage mechanisms, access controls, and monitoring for unauthorized usage. 1.3. Compromise Liability. We are not responsible for any consequences arising from compromised API keys after they leave our dashboard, including but not limited to unauthorized usage charges, data breaches occurring through unauthorized API access, service disruption, or any claims brought by third parties affected by compromised key usage. 1.4. Rate Limit Compliance. Rate limits apply per subscription tier and are enforced to maintain service quality for all users. Developers using one key across multiple deployments may experience rate limits more quickly and should plan their architecture accordingly. Implementing client-side caching and request batching is recommended to maximize the efficiency of API quota usage.

2. Content and Usage Restrictions

2.1. Absolute Prohibitions. Integration with gambling websites or applications of any kind is absolutely prohibited. Integration with adult content, pornographic, or sexually explicit websites or applications is absolutely prohibited. Integration with websites or applications promoting hate speech, violence, discrimination, or terrorism is absolutely prohibited. Violation of any absolute prohibition results in immediate, permanent account suspension without warning, refund, or opportunity for appeal. 2.2. Harmful Content Generation. Developers shall not create applications that use the API to generate illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, fraudulent, privacy-invasive, or otherwise objectionable content. The determination of what constitutes objectionable content is at Cortexvia's sole discretion. 2.3. Impersonation Prohibition. Building applications that impersonate real individuals, companies, organizations, or government entities without explicit written authorization is strictly prohibited. This includes creating chatbots that represent themselves as human agents without disclosure. 2.4. Abuse Prevention. Using the API for spamming, phishing, social engineering attacks, unsolicited bulk communications, or any form of automated abuse targeting end-users or third parties is prohibited. Developers must implement reasonable safeguards to prevent their applications from being used for abusive purposes. 2.5. Reverse Engineering. Attempting to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, extract algorithms from, or otherwise derive the source code, training data, model architectures, or proprietary techniques underlying our API responses is strictly prohibited. 2.6. Security Circumvention. Bypassing, circumventing, or attempting to circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, access controls, or any other security measures is prohibited. Discovering and responsibly reporting security vulnerabilities is welcomed; exploiting them is prohibited.

3. Enforcement and Suspension Procedures

3.1. Detection Methods. We employ automated and manual methods to detect policy violations, including traffic analysis, content inspection, user reports, and third-party monitoring services. Developers should assume that all API usage is subject to monitoring for compliance purposes. 3.2. Immediate Suspension. Upon detection of policy violations, accounts may be immediately suspended without prior notice. During suspension, all API keys stop functioning, dashboard access may be restricted, and any deployed integrations will cease to operate. Billing modules may remain active to allow settlement of outstanding charges. 3.3. Cure Period. Suspended developers have thirty (30) days from suspension notification to provide explanation, demonstrate remediation, or appeal the decision. Appeals should be submitted to [email protected] with detailed information about the circumstances and corrective actions taken. 3.4. Permanent Termination. If no satisfactory resolution is achieved within the cure period, the account and all associated data will be permanently deleted without further notice. Permanent termination is irreversible and precludes future account creation. 3.5. Refund Forfeiture. No refunds are issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to policy violations. All subscription fees paid and unused quota are forfeited upon termination for cause. 3.6. Legal Escalation. Severe violations may be referred to law enforcement authorities and may result in civil or criminal legal action. Cortexvia reserves all legal rights and remedies.

4. Verification Programs

4.1. Student Verification. Student tier eligibility requires verification of current enrollment at an accredited educational institution. Acceptable documentation includes student ID cards, enrollment letters, or academic transcripts showing current enrollment status. 4.2. Startup Verification. Startup tier eligibility may require documentation such as company registration certificates, incorporation documents, or other proof of legitimate business status. 4.3. Review Process. Verification is conducted through manual review by our team. Initial review typically completes within seventy-two (72) hours. We commit to providing a final decision within seven (7) business days of documentation submission. 4.4. Resubmission. If verification is rejected, developers may resubmit with corrected or additional documentation. Multiple rejections for inconsistent or fraudulent documentation may result in account suspension. 4.5. Status Revocation. Verified status can be revoked at any time if suspicious activity is detected, if the developer no longer meets eligibility requirements, or if the original verification documents are determined to be fraudulent. Revocation may occur without prior notice. 4.6. Fraud Consequences. Accounts flagged as fraudulent during verification that fail to provide satisfactory verification within three (3) business days will be permanently deleted without refund.

5. Response Generation Infrastructure

5.1. Processing Pipeline. API requests for AI-generated responses initiate a multi-stage processing pipeline comprising request validation, context retrieval from vector databases, prompt construction, inference execution, and response formatting. Each stage involves distinct computational operations that may utilize different infrastructure components. 5.2. Distributed Architecture. The processing infrastructure is distributed across multiple geographic regions and computational clusters to ensure availability and performance. Request routing is dynamic and optimized based on current system load, latency measurements, and resource availability. 5.3. Computational Backends. Response generation utilizes specialized computational infrastructure optimized for large language model inference workloads. This infrastructure may include GPU-accelerated computing clusters, custom ASIC deployments, or cloud-based inference endpoints provided by external computational service providers. The specific backend infrastructure utilized for any given request is determined dynamically and may vary. 5.4. Provider Ecosystem. Our inference infrastructure incorporates services from multiple external providers to ensure redundancy, optimize performance, and manage costs. These providers operate their own data centers, employ their own security measures, and maintain their own data handling policies. Request data transmitted to these providers is processed according to their respective operational procedures. 5.5. Data Handling Acknowledgment. By making API requests, developers acknowledge that request payloads including user queries and retrieved context segments are transmitted to and processed by our distributed inference infrastructure, which may include external computational service providers operating under their own terms of service, privacy policies, and data retention practices. Cortexvia does not exercise direct control over the internal operations, security implementations, or data handling procedures of these external infrastructure components. For production workloads, provider configurations are intended for inference-only processing, while provider retention and model-improvement terms depend on provider contracts and service tiers. 5.6. Model Variability. The specific machine learning models utilized for inference may be updated, replaced, or rotated without prior notice as we continuously optimize for quality, performance, and cost efficiency. This may result in changes to response characteristics, capabilities, or behavior over time.

6. Beta Features and Platform Evolution

6.1. Experimental Designation. Features labeled as "beta," "experimental," "preview," or similar designations are provided for evaluation purposes only. These features have not completed full production testing and may contain bugs, security issues, or unexpected behavior. 6.2. Production Warning. Beta features are not recommended for production use, business-critical applications, or scenarios where reliability is essential. Developers who incorporate beta features into production systems do so at their own risk. 6.3. Discontinuation Rights. Beta features can be removed, modified substantially, or discontinued at any time without prior notice, email notification, documentation updates, or migration assistance. Applications dependent on beta features may break without warning. 6.4. Stable Feature Changes. For stable, production-grade features and API endpoints, we endeavor to provide minimum thirty (30) days notice before removal or breaking changes. Notice may be provided through deprecation headers in API responses, dashboard announcements, developer mailing lists, or direct email. 6.5. General Evolution. We reserve the right to modify, update, enhance, deprecate, or discontinue any aspect of the API or SDK at any time. While we strive to maintain backward compatibility and provide migration paths, operational requirements may necessitate breaking changes.

7. Support and Communication

7.1. Email Support Availability. Email support at [email protected] is available to all developers regardless of subscription tier. Initial response time target is twenty-four (24) hours during business days. 7.2. Phone Support Eligibility. Phone support is available only to developers on Startup, Business, or Student subscription tiers. Phone support is provided in English, and our team can assist in most major languages on request. 7.3. Resolution Targets. We target issue resolution within seven (7) business days. Complex technical issues, integration problems, or issues requiring investigation may require additional time. We will communicate expected timelines for complex issues. 7.4. Abuse Consequences. Any misuse of support channels, including harassment of support personnel, abuse of phone support access, excessive frivolous requests, or use of support channels for non-support purposes, may result in support access restrictions, account sanctions, or legal action.
